Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Hamid Maleki, Deputy Head of the Qom Seminary, spoke at the unveiling and research call ceremony based on the message of martyred leader Imam Khamenei to the International Congress for the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Qom Seminary. The event was held on Monday evening in the conference hall of the seminary's academic associations.
Detailing the transformation process of seminaries following the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's historic message, he stated: "The day after the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution issued the 'Pioneering and Leading Seminary' message, Ayatollah Arafi immediately convened a meeting, emphasizing that from now on, the axis of work is the words of His Eminence."
He added: "From that very moment, one day after the reading of that highly profound statement, meetings began, and today, after one year, you are witnessing the preliminary tasks; tasks that are immense and foundational."
Content of Seminary Sciences is the Quran and the Teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT)
In another part of his speech, the Deputy Head of the Qom Seminary pointed to the nature of seminary sciences, asserting: "The content of seminary sciences is imperishable. The substance of seminary sciences is the Quran and the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). The Quran is an eternal miracle; meaning, as long as humanity exists, its need for the Quran persists."
Hujjat al-Islam Maleki, citing divine verses, said: "God Almighty states in the Holy Quran that We have sent down this Quran, and We will surely preserve it until the end, because humanity needs it; for it is 'guidance for mankind' and 'a reminder for the worlds.'"
He then analyzed the martyred leader's assessment of the global situation, noting: "The martyred leader stated that the world is in a state of transformation. If the seminary does not align itself with this transformation, does not engage with it, and fails to be responsive, it will become isolated. This is a rational and natural rule."
The Deputy Head of the Qom Seminary quoted a key statement by the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing: "He used to say that whoever discusses religion in the media, on television, and radio today must imagine that for five hundred years, these words, these sentences, and this presentation must remain fresh, new, and responsive."
World's Academic Centers Awaiting Seminary's Articulation of Religion
Hujjat al-Islam Maleki further elaborated on the international horizon of seminaries, saying: "As our martyred leader said, the world's academic centers, researchers, international universities, and fair-minded thinkers are all waiting to hear the seminary's expression regarding religion."
Output of Qom Seminary: Figures Like Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Leader of the Revolution; Output of the West: Child Abusers and Child Killers
The Qom Seminary lecturer, referring to recent regional developments, stated: "The world today, especially after the Ramadan War, is only just beginning to truly understand Shiite thought, the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), and the seminary sciences."
He added: "Nations and international analysts are seeking to discover this school and how it has institutionalized such resistance, the culture of Ashura, patience, and forbearance in its followers."
The Deputy Head of the Qom Seminary compared the Islamic system with the Western system, clarifying: "The output of the seminary consists of luminous personalities such as Imam Khomeini and the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, whereas the output of the Western system is ill-mannered, imprudent individuals, child abusers, child killers, and the people of Epstein Island. The world today is watching these two systems."
Martyred Leader's Message to Seminaries: A Historic and Strategic Roadmap
In the concluding part of his speech, Hujjat al-Islam Maleki, emphasizing the position of the Islamic Revolution's leadership, stated: "The message of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Islamic seminaries is a historic and strategic message that sets the roadmap for the future of the seminaries. The works being unveiled today elucidate only a portion of this lofty and profound message."
